Curt and Jacki Stracke purchased McComb Funeral Home in  December of 2007. Curt has been a funeral director for over nineteen years. After graduating from Shelton High School in 1970, Curt married Jacki, his high school sweetheart, in 1975.  They have three grown children, who were all born and raised in Shelton and also graduated from Shelton High School.  Curt and Jack are the proud grandparents of three grandsons. "People tell you how cool it is to have grandchildren, but you don't really get that until you have them."

Ron is our veteran funeral director and embalmer. He was born and raised in Minnesota where he received his funeral service education from the University of Minnesota. Ron now lives in the Skokomish Valley with his wife and enjoys spending time working on his tractors and cars with his four grown sons. He also loves long motorcycle rides with his many motorcycle buddies. He will always take the time to talk to you and has never met a stranger.  Ron offers the funeral home his tremendous experience and knowledge.

Debbie has lived all her life in Shelton, graduating from Shelton High School in 1974.  She is the mother of two grown children and has one granddaughter.  Debbie has also worked at number of different business in the community and has added another layer of compassion, caring and dedication to the funeral home staff.

As office manager Nancy provides the day to day structure to the funeral home. Nancy has lived most of her life in Shelton, graduating from Shelton High School in 1968. She has worked at the funeral home for over 13 years and can answer many of your questions concerning the care of your loved one.  She is kind and compassionate and genuinely concerned about the families who call and come through our doors.

As our firm’s primary first call employee, Brooks is a critical link in our ability to provide quality professional service to the community 24 hours per day. He lives in Shelton with his wife of 29 years. They have two grown children.  Brooks works for our firm part-time while working full-time with the Squaxin Island Tribal as an Executive Support Person. He is also a soloist who sometimes sings at funerals or memorial services and can always be counted on at a moments notice.
